Standards Directives

Standards Directives (STD) are Federal OSHA directives that clarify or provide guidance regarding occupational safety and health standards.

Note: Federal OSHA directives not contained in this section have not been adopted for application in North Carolina. Questions regarding STDs should be directed to dol.onestopshop@labor.nc.gov.
