This directive provides guidance on fall protection for certain residential construction activities. It cancels and replaces OPN 109 regarding fall protection in residential construction.
The cover sheet was revised on 8/24/2017 to clarify in section B. (Scope) that 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13) applies to all fall protection issues over six (6) feet in residential construction.
