Homeland Security and Emergency Response

Provides Homeland Security (HLS) and Emergency Response documents including SEMP, COOP, NIMS and other related documents. The North Carolina Department of Labor (NCDOL), Occupational Safety and Health Division, is committed to providing resources (personnel and equipment) to support and assist North Carolina emergency response agencies and federal organizations in protecting first responders and recovery workers during a local or nationally significant incident.

Library

The Charles H. Livengood Jr. Memorial Library is located on the fifth floor of the Old Revenue Building in Raleigh. The library's collection consists of over 14,000 labor-related volumes, which include approximately 120 journal titles and more than 1,500 safety and health-related videos.

Reports and Surveys

Provides monthly and annual reports including Grassroots, SOAR, OFIR, CAPR, FAME, Top 25 frequently cited standards, BLS injury and illness rates, along with public sector survey and public sector target analysis reports.

Strategic Management Plan and Committees

Provides the Strategic Management Plan (SMP), special emphasis program (SEP) activities, meeting dates and meeting minutes. Reference APN 19 - Strategic Management Plan Committee Activity for specific procedures for the chair and committee members.
