The purpose of the Initial Compliance Course is to introduce new compliance officers to the Field Operations Manual (FOM). The topics covered include general inspection procedures, violations, citations, penalties, complaints, referrals, the N.C. Administrative Code (NCAC) and the OSH Strategic Management Plan. The objective of the course is to provide the student with an awareness of the FOM chapters and the overall inspection process.
