The purpose of the accident investigation course is to introduce accident investigation procedures and analysis techniques to compliance personnel. The topics that will be covered included baseline interviewing techniques, circumstance-based questions, communication and listening techniques, evidence gathering and documentation, witness statements, multicultural issues, stereotypes, and note taking skills. The course objective is to increase knowledge and to develop skills in accident investigation.
