Respirators Certified Under Standards of Other Countries

On April 3, 2020 the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued an enforcement memorandum which outlines enforcement discretion to permit the use of filtering facepiece respirators and air purifying elastomeric respirators that are either certified under cettain standards of other countries or jurisdictions, or previously certified under standards of other countries or jurisdictions but are beyond the manufacturer's recommended shelf life (i.e., expired).
