On April 3, 2020 the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) issued enforcement guidance regarding respirators worn to protect against SARS-Co V-2 (the virus that causes COVID-19) and the shortage of N95 respirators that has developed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
