Not adopted. This Instruction provides guidance to ensure OSHA communicates its fatality inspection procedures to the fallen worker’s family and facilitates the exchange of information throughout the entire inspection process and settlement or final order of any citation(s) issued.
The OSH Division already has procedures in place in APN 28 - Ombudsman's Interactions with Next of Kin, which are as effective as OSHA's procedures and adoption of the CPL was not determined to be necessary (01/08/2024).
