NEP: Isocyanates

This instruction describes policies and procedures for implementing a National Emphasis Program to identify and reduce or eliminate the incidence of adverse health effects associated with occupational exposure to isocyanates. This NEP will be used in conjunction with OPN 135 - Health Hazards Special Emphasis Program. The OSH Division will use only the inspection procedures portion of this directive. Note: Receipt and management of employee medical records will be in accordance with 13 NCAC 07A.0900, Access to Employee Medical Records, and appropriate FOM Chapters.
