NEP: Diacetyl

This instruction describes policies and procedures for implementing a National Emphasis Program (NEP) to identify and reduce or eliminate hazards associated with exposures to flavoring chemicals in facilities that manufacture food flavorings containing Diacetyl. This directive will be used in conjunction to OPN 140, Special Emphasis Program for Food Manufacturing Facilities.
