Tracking of Workplace Injuries and Illnesses

88 FR 139 (7/21/23) 29 CFR 1904.41 - final rule. This revision adds the requirement for employers in certain industries with 100 or more employees to submit information from their OSHA Forms 300 and 301, annually to OSHA through the Injury Tracking Application (ITA). In addition, OSHA updated Appendix A, which designates the industries with between 20 and 249 employees that are required to submit OSHA Form 300A data, and added Appendix B, which lists the industries that are designated to report injury and illness data from their OSHA Forms 300 and 301. OSHA also added the requirement that all establishments will be required to provide their company name when making electronic submissions to OSHA.
