71 FR 50122 - 8/24/2006; 29 CFR 1910.134, and 29 CFR 1915 and 1926 - final rule. Parts 1915 and 1926 refer to 1910.134. Federal OSHA issued this final rule to revise its existing respiratory protection standard to add definitions and requirements for Assigned Protection Factors (APFs) and Maximum Use Concentrations. The revisions also supersede the respirator selection provisions of existing substance specific standards in 29 CFR 1910, 1915, and 1926 with these new APFs (except for 1,3-Butadiene).
