84 FR 51377 9/30/2019 29 CFR 1915.1024 (Shipyard Employment) and 29 CFR 1926.1124 (Construction) - final rule. OSHA is delaying the compliance deadlines for almost all provisions of the beryllium standards for shipyards and construction until 9/30/2020 with the exception of the PEL and STEL. OSHA also plans to issue a new proposed rule for these sectors rather than revoking the ancillary provisions of the standards for shipyards and construction.
Also reference NCAC 5 - The final rules at 29 CFR 1915 - Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Shipyard Employment and 29 CFR 1917 - Occupational Safety and Health Standards for Marine Terminals are incorporated by reference into the North Carolina Administrative Code and apply only to public sector employees of local governments of the State of North Carolina.
